Vacancy Details

Category-wise allocation for General/SC/ST/OBC candidates will be made according to applicable rules.

Stipend

Monthly Stipend: ₹15,000

Training Period: 1 Year

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess the relevant qualification from a recognized Board/University.

Year of Passing: Only candidates who passed the qualifying examination in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 are eligible.

Candidates whose qualifying examination results have not been declared/are unavailable by the last date of application are not eligible.

Candidates with a higher qualification than the prescribed qualification are not eligible.

Only candidates who completed their qualifying examination as regular candidates are eligible.

Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training, are currently undergoing apprenticeship training, or have one year or more of job experience after obtaining the essential qualification are not eligible.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 18 Years

Maximum age and age relaxation will be applicable according to the Apprentices Act, 1961, Apprentices Rules, 1992 and NATS 2.0 guidelines.

Selection may be conducted through shortlisting based on:

Academic Merit
Written Test
Interview
Walk-in Interview
Combination of the above methods

Final selection is subject to satisfactory document verification. HEMRL reserves the right to determine its own shortlisting criteria.

How to Apply

Degree candidates must first register on the NATS 2.0 portal.

Candidates must then download and fill the prescribed application form available through the DRDO vacancy page.

Only offline applications will be accepted.

Incomplete/incorrect applications or applications received after the deadline will be rejected.

Documents Required for Verification

Candidates must produce originals along with one set of self-attested photocopies, including:

Application form with ink signature
Signed NATS 2.0 profile
Educational marks cards and certificates from Class 10 onwards up to the prescribed qualification
Aadhaar Card/Photo ID proof
Address proof
Recent passport-size colour photographs
SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD/EWS certificate, if applicable

Important Conditions

Selected candidates must execute an apprenticeship contract for one year.

The apprenticeship period begins from the date of execution of the apprenticeship contract.

Selected candidates will receive joining instructions through email.

No permanent, temporary or contractual employment at HEMRL/DRDO is guaranteed after completion of apprenticeship training.

No TA/DA, accommodation, transportation or medical facilities will be provided during the selection process or apprenticeship training.
