Essential Qualification:
M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or allied subjects with First Division at both Graduate and Postgraduate levels
OR
B.E./B.Tech in First Division with NET/GATE in Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or allied subjects.
Desirable Skills:

B.E./B.Tech in First Division with NET/GATE in relevant fields such as Geoinformatics / Remote Sensing & GIS / Geomatics / Earth Science / Environmental Science
OR
Postgraduate Science degree in First Division at Graduate and Postgraduate levels with NET/GATE in the prescribed relevant field. The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science degree.

Desirable Skills:
Exposure to numerical weather prediction models
Working knowledge of statistical analysis tools

Junior Research Fellow: ₹37,000 per month + HRA
HRA will be provided according to applicable rules.
Maximum Age: 28 years
Age is calculated as on 30 June 2026.
SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
OBC: 3 years relaxation
Age relaxation is applicable according to Government rules.
Initial Tenure: 2 Years
The fellowship may be terminated during the tenure with one month's prior notice according to the conditions in the advertisement.
Selection: Walk-in Interview
Candidates must report at 8:30 AM on the applicable interview date.
Screening & Document Verification: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Interview: From 11:00 AM onwards
Selection through the walk-in interview will be provisional and subject to verification of original documents and certificates.
