Educational Qualification

Mandatory Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.

Preferred Qualification

A minimum 3-month computer course certification

OR

Information Technology or a related paper as a subject at graduation level or afterwards

The advertisement also lists Physical Security Professional certification as a preferred qualification.

Experience / Service Requirement

Candidates must satisfy one of the following:

Defence Forces: Officer with at least 5 years of commissioned service in the Indian Army, Indian Navy or Indian Air Force.

OR

Police: Police officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) with at least 5 years of service as a Class-I Gazetted Officer.

OR

Paramilitary Forces: Officer of the rank equivalent to or above Assistant Commandant, with at least 5 years of service as a Class-I Gazetted Officer in a paramilitary force.

Short Service Commissioned Officers are also covered subject to the detailed service/release conditions specified in the notification.

Age Limit

Age calculated as on: 1 August 2026

Minimum Age: 25 years
Maximum Age: 35 years

The 35-year maximum is for General-category candidates; eligible reserved-category candidates receive relaxation.

Salary / Pay Scale

Grade: MMG/S-II

Pay Scale: ₹64,820 – ₹93,960

Scale structure:

₹64,820 – ₹67,160 – ₹93,960, with increments as prescribed by the Bank's officer pay structure.

In addition to basic pay, selected candidates receive applicable Bank allowances, perquisites and other facilities under prevailing Bank policies and industry-level settlements.

Probation Period

Probation: 12 months (1 year) of active service from the date of joining Bank of Baroda.

Service Bond

Manager-Security is an MMG/S-II regular officer post.

Selected candidates must serve Bank of Baroda for a minimum of 3 years.

If they leave before completing the required active service, the current bond provision requires payment equivalent to 3 months' gross salary, subject to a maximum of ₹3 lakh.

The Bank notes that bond terms can be revised according to prevailing policies.

Selection Process

Online Examination Pattern

If Bank of Baroda decides to conduct an online examination, the tentative pattern is:

Total Duration: 150 minutes

The first three sections—Reasoning, English and Quantitative Aptitude—are qualifying in nature, and their marks are not counted toward the final result. Professional Knowledge carries 150 marks.

Negative Marking

For every incorrect answer:

0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.

Unanswered Question: No penalty.

Interview Qualifying Marks

General/EWS: 60%

Other Reserved Categories: 55%

The Bank reserves the right to change the qualifying criteria. Candidates who fail to clear the Personal Interview will not be considered for final selection.
