Vacancy Details

All 7 vacancies are UR. The appointments are for KRCL projects on a fixed-term, fixed-remuneration basis.

Age Limit

Age Reckoning Date: 1 June 2026
Maximum Age: 50 years

For eligible retired Railway officials, relaxation can extend the permissible age up to 65 years as applicable. Relaxation for eligible Ex-Servicemen is subject to the notification conditions.

Educational Qualification & Experience

Qualifications differ by post.

Deputy General Manager/S&T: Relevant full-time Engineering/Technology Degree or Diploma with substantial prescribed professional experience in the S&T field.

Senior Project Manager/S&T: Relevant Engineering/Technology qualification with the prescribed S&T/project experience.

Project Engineer/S&T (AUTOCAD): Relevant full-time Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in prescribed Engineering/Technology disciplines or eligible equivalent qualification, with minimum 2 years' relevant experience and required AUTOCAD experience.

Senior Technician: Full-time regular ITI/NCVT qualification with 3 years' relevant experience in Signal & Telecom systems. AUTOCAD experience is desirable.

Technician: Full-time regular ITI/NCVT or 10th Pass, along with the prescribed 3 years' relevant S&T experience. AUTOCAD experience is desirable.

Cook: Minimum 7th Pass with at least 2 years' cooking experience in a restaurant, household, rest house, dhaba or similar food establishment.

Salary / Monthly Remuneration

Salary depends on both the post and classification of the place of posting.

The consolidated remuneration includes specified allowances. KRCL also states that annual remuneration will increase by 4% after completion of each year of contractual engagement.

Additional Benefits

Eligible contract employees can receive reimbursement of life-insurance premium up to ₹500 per month, medical allowance of ₹500 per month toward OPD expenses, and reimbursement of health-policy premium up to ₹500 per month, subject to the notification conditions.

Candidates attend the walk-in directly with the prescribed application and supporting documents.

Documents Required

Candidates should carry the completed Annexure-A application form, educational qualification certificates, date-of-birth proof, relevant experience certificates, two recent passport-size photographs, character certificate from a Gazetted/Executive Officer, and applicable Ex-Servicemen/retired Railway service documents. AUTOCAD-related experience proof should also be carried for applicable posts.

Contract Conditions

The appointments are temporary fixed-term contracts and do not provide a right to permanent absorption in KRCL.

Selected candidates are also required to execute an indemnity bond of ₹50,000 on ₹100 stamp paper as prescribed by KRCL.
