Candidates must possess the prescribed full-time regular degree in First Division from a recognized Indian University/Institute.

Eligible Passing Years

Candidates who completed the qualifying degree in the prescribed recent academic years, including 2022 to 2026, are eligible subject to the conditions of the notification.

Candidates must have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates.

Stipend

Monthly Stipend: ₹12,300

The stipend is payable during the apprenticeship training period according to the applicable apprenticeship rules.

Training Period

Duration: 12 Months

The engagement is under the Apprentices Act, 1961, as amended. The official DRDO listing specifically identifies the recruitment as engagement of Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act.

This is apprenticeship training and not permanent DRDO employment.

NATS Registration

Candidates must register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal.
