Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the prescribed B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech or equivalent qualification in the relevant Engineering/Technology discipline from an AICTE-accredited/recognized institution or university, along with the applicable NET/GATE qualification where required.

Candidates must satisfy the exact discipline-wise qualification given in the official advertisement.

Age Limit

Maximum Age for JRF: 28 years

Age relaxation is applicable to eligible reserved-category candidates according to Government of India/DRDO rules.

Fellowship

JRF Fellowship: ₹37,000 per month + HRA as admissible under DRDO rules.

Selection Process

Document Screening → Written Test → Interview

A written test will begin from 10:00 AM on 19 September 2026. Only candidates who qualify the written test will be interviewed on the same day.

Final merit is prepared based on performance in the interview as prescribed in the notification.
