DRDO Young Scientist Laboratory – Cognitive Technology (DYSL-CT) conducts R&D in areas including Cognitive Radio, Cognitive Radar and Cognitive Surveillance.
The JRF recruitment is intended for candidates with relevant Engineering/Technology qualifications in the disciplines prescribed in the official advertisement.
Depending on the discipline, eligible qualifications can include:
B.E./B.Tech with valid GATE qualification
or
M.E./M.Tech in the relevant Engineering/Technology discipline
Candidates must satisfy the exact discipline and academic requirements specified in Advertisement No. DYSL-CT/ADM/JRF/15/ADV/2026-27/15.
Maximum Age for JRF: 28 years
Applicable relaxation is provided to eligible reserved-category candidates according to Government of India/DRDO rules.
JRF Fellowship: ₹37,000 per month + HRA
HRA is payable as applicable under DRDO rules.
The JRF position is a temporary research fellowship. It does not provide any right to permanent absorption or regular employment in DRDO.
DRDO also specifies that candidates who have previously been awarded a JRF position in a DRDO laboratory/centre/establishment are not eligible to receive another JRF under the applicable conditions.
