Educational Qualification

Qualification varies by apprenticeship category.

Trade Apprentice: 10th/12th/ITI or other prescribed qualification depending on the trade.

Technician Apprentice: Diploma in the relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized institute.

Graduate Apprentice: Bachelor's degree in the prescribed discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

Candidates must meet the exact post/trade-specific eligibility requirements in the official notification.

Age Limit

Generally, candidates must be at least 18 years and within the maximum age prescribed by IOCL as on the specified cut-off date.

Age relaxation applies to eligible SC/ST, OBC-NCL and PwBD candidates according to applicable rules.

Stipend

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as prescribed under the Apprentices Act/Apprenticeship Rules and IOCL guidelines.

Selection Process

Application/Eligibility Screening → Merit/Selection as prescribed → Document Verification → Pre-engagement Medical Fitness
