Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed:

10th (Matriculation) and 12th (+2) from a school/institution/board situated within Himachal Pradesh.

The condition regarding studying from an institution within Himachal Pradesh does not apply to eligible Bonafide Himachali candidates, as prescribed in the notification.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 18 Years

A one-time relaxation of one year has been provided for this recruitment, resulting in an upper age of 26 years for the general applicable category, with further category-specific relaxations according to the recruitment rules.

Salary

Pay Level: Level 3

Pay Scale: ₹20,200 – ₹64,000

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of:

Physical Standard Test (PST) → Physical Efficiency Test (PET) → Written Examination → Document Verification → Medical Examination

Candidates must satisfy the prescribed physical and medical standards.

Physical Standards

For male candidates, the minimum height varies by category. General/OBC/EWS candidates generally require 5'6", while SC/ST/Gorkha candidates have a lower prescribed standard.

For female candidates, General/OBC/EWS candidates generally require 5'2", while SC/ST/Gorkha candidates have a lower prescribed standard. Category-specific standards should be checked in the official advertisement.
