Educational Qualification

Qualifications vary according to the post.

Selection Process

For the main SI/Constable recruitment, the process can include:

Preliminary Written Test → Physical Measurement Test (PMT) → Physical Efficiency Test (PET) → Final Written Examination → Certificate Verification → Final Selection

For SI-level posts, the final examination includes four 3-hour papers, including two descriptive papers.

Technical posts can additionally require a Trade Test/Driving Test/Technical Test. The official board confirms that no preliminary written test is prescribed for certain technical posts.

Application Fee

For the common SI-level procedure:

SC/ST candidates local to Telangana: ₹750

All Others: ₹1,500

The fee is a one-time fee covering the end-to-end recruitment process, including applicable application processing, examinations, PMT/PET, certificate verification and result processing. Fee amounts/process can differ for other post groups, so candidates should check their specific notification.
