Educational Qualification

Medical Officer (Assistant Commandant): Recognized MBBS/allopathic medical qualification, along with the required medical registration and completion of compulsory rotating internship.

Specialist Medical Officer (Deputy Commandant): Recognized medical qualification plus the prescribed Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty and required experience.

Super Specialist Medical Officer (Second-in-Command): MBBS/equivalent medical qualification plus the prescribed postgraduate and super-specialty qualification in the relevant field.

Age Limit

The upper age limit is post-specific:

Medical Officer: Up to 30 years

Specialist Medical Officer: Up to 40 years

Super Specialist Medical Officer: Up to 50 years

Pay Scale
